The brush strokes in these paintings run from the edge to the interior. After laying down a base color I make a bead of paint at the edge and then brush this color across the picture plane. Painting from all sides, the colors and brush texture begin to mix and mingle creating an atmospheric space for the mind and soul to reflect.
